Pedal2Parks
Pueblo Studio partnered with Public Matters to coordinate four community-led bike trains that converged simultaneously at Los Angeles State Historic Park, creating a powerful centerpiece for the Bike!Bike! event and spotlighting the need for safer, more accessible bike routes to the park. The convergence was both a celebration and a statement—demonstrating how collective movement can illuminate gaps in mobility and inspire new possibilities for connection.
To deepen this narrative, Pueblo Studio collaborated with local cyclists of color across Los Angeles to uplift stories that are too often overlooked. By capturing their experiences, insights, and motivations for biking, Pueblo Studio helped reveal the rich, diverse, and non-traditional bicycling narratives that define the city. These personal stories reframed who bikes in Los Angeles and underscored the urgency of addressing inequitable access to green space.
Through this storytelling-centered approach, Pueblo Studio transformed a ride into a platform—one that elevated community voices, challenged assumptions, and called for a more inclusive, accessible, and vibrant Los Angeles for all who move through it.
